“This is your hazelnut biscuit. Oh my gosh, look at that. God, I'm going to do this right here right now. Here we go. Oh my god. That's incredible, man. The hazelnut, the layer. Oh, so crunchy, bro. It's addictive.”
- 2Baklava Latte20:12
“This is pistachio syrup. The pistachios from Turkey. Pistachio milk, double espresso. Look at the mascapone right there. Oh my gosh. This is a baklava latte. After this, I got energy to run to Turkey.”
- 3Cheese Simit22:08
“the cheese simit. This is like the Turkish bagel. We have to get one of those. Oh my god, look at that nice and cheese. You got some of the peppers, also some tomato. This is incredible. Sesame seeds. Turkish bagel. Oh my god. I love it. The bagel is nice and fluffy. Love the little crunch with the sesame seeds, but really is the cheese and the pepper. Makes it truly Aegean. Wow, you can taste the flavor of Turkey right here. This is delicious.”
- 4Aegean Borek24:03
“Here we have the Aegean Borek. So, I've been to the Balkans a lot. They were conquered by the Ottomans, so, you know, we have borek throughout the whole thing. It's an Ottoman tradition. So, got mint, dill, and parsley. Look at that. Beautiful filo dough. Incredible layers. Oh my god. Definitely more on the moist side of borek. Nice and crunchy too. I mean, this is a perfect breakfast in, you know, in Albania or in Turkey. Perfect, bro. One of those islands right there next to Izmir. Bro, we're going to Bodrum soon. I like how flaky it is, look. Definitely different, like it's more crumbly. I love borek every single morning. Doesn't matter where you are on the Balkans. This with coffee, some raki. What I love about the Aegean Borek is the feta. The feta with all these incredible greens from the Aegean. Not too salty. Don't tell anybody. Two by rules over. Oh my god. This is delicious.”
- 5Potato Gözleme25:52
“This is the potato gözleme. So this is another like cheesy to-go street food. Oh my god, potato and cheese. What is this? It's almost like a quesadilla. Oh my god. The amazing spicy potatoes. Super soft. It is just like a like a quesadilla. Okay, but like more of a Turkish twist. If you're hungry, you're on the go. This will get you full quick. So guys, two bites. I don't make the rules. I'm just trying to really understand what goes into this dish and uh, see. Three bites, three bites.”
- 6Laz Baklava27:12
“The Laz Baklava. Oh, it's definitely softer. More like a crème brûlée filling. Like a very creamy filling. This thing is going to melt. Baklava. One of my favorite desserts. Oh my god. This is like a super decadent baklava. Like melted on my tongue. Okay. It is like a crème brûlée. The inside, it's almost the same texture. That's the most unique baklava I've ever had. I'll say that. I've tried so many baklavas, but that one just, it just melted on me. No, it's it's almost like a kissio. Like that's how it is. Like just very just melts. Melt on your mouth. This is you have the Spangle. It is very popular in Turkey. It has a chocolate cake, uh, vanilla cream, uh, pistachio pieces and what makes it different is the chocolate sauce. And we like to eat with a scoop of milky ice cream. Milky ice cream. Here in US, the vanilla is the like most classic ice cream. This one has no vanilla, just milk, milk flavor, sugar. Oh, it is like super saucy. The milk, no vanilla. It's like a chocolate pillow. Look at this. Oh, it's good. I don't know how to speak Turkish, but teşekkürler.”
