The next fried chicken location I'm going to is known as the Prada of fried chicken here in South Korea, Puradak Chicken. Oh my goodness. This is the to-go bag that contains the fried chicken. That's fancy. Let's go find a place to eat this. So Puradak is a relatively newer fried chicken chain and their whole packaging is made to look luxurious. Look at this. Looks like a looks like a LV purse. And what they do is they bake their chicken before they fry it, which retains more of the moisture and flavor of the chicken. And I got two different flavors. One is Black Aglio, which is black garlic. The other is Devil Chicken.

    1. 1Black Aglio (black garlic)

This thing smells so good. Huge garlicky flavor, especially the bites with the crispy garlic. It's definitely juicier than typical Korean fried chicken. It's got a slight crunch on the outside. It's not as crispy as other battered fried chicken. But the overall flavor of the chicken is more saturated, there's more texture, more layers. Overall from the chicken to the sauce to the ingredients, it does taste like it's higher quality.

    2. 2Devil Chicken

Grab a piece of the Devil Chicken and you are able to get the chicken with or without bones. Boy, oh yeah, this one's got a ton of heat. I opted for the bones in, but honestly, I think maybe without the bones is better. Cause again, these are not just simply wings, drumsticks, it's a whole chicken cut up. I think it's just easier to eat it without bones. That flavor, it's spicy, it's intense, very fragrant from the scallions. It doesn't really have much of a breading on the outside. So again, it's not going to be as crispy as typical Korean fried chicken, but the texture is more tender, the meat is more juicy. The overall flavor of the sauce is soaked into the chicken more. And even though it's not extra crispy, it still has a subtle crunch on the outer shell. I think the flavor, the sauce is very, very unique when it comes to Korean fried chicken. Never really had anything like this before. It's spicy, it's sweet. It's got its own unique umaminess. Best thing, it's so darn juicy. I can definitely see why this is considered luxury fried chicken. Pretty good. Like the box too.
